Currently any part replacement at customer premises, would start from the required part being sent from the parts warehouse located in a different city to the respective service centre, through an elaborate courier handling process, before it reaches its final destination – the end user.
This process takes substantial amounts of time, as the parts sent through courier mode, would:-
first be picked up by a local franchisee (provided you place a request before a stipulated time)
which then reaches it to the local courier hub.
The hub then arranges to dispatch the consignment to the destination courier hub, which is on the next working day.
This process of delivery is again repeated, before it reaches the end-customer on the 3rd day of dispatch from the parts warehouse. The complete transaction takes considerable amount of time which results in customer dissatisfaction and overall increase in parts carrying cost and total service cost.
R&R provides a unique solution, where in:-
the courier hub at the destination itself acts as a service centre, and
the replacement part can be taken to the customer premises for replacement upon reaching the destination. This would cut down the total time considerably and brings down the expenses involved in providing replacement services for the manufacturer.
In certain cases, we can even act as the Part Warehouse on behalf of the manufacturer, so that, parts can be shipped directly to our destination courier hub (service centre), where the part would be replaced local, or at the customer premises.
This service is currently provided in the state of Karnataka, and would be replicated to other states in a phased manner
